Born from the vision of Rungta Mouldings, we have pioneered the conversion of locally sourced PET bottle scrap into high-value products, contributing significantly to the reduction of plastic pollution in our oceans and championing the cause of circular economy principles in plastics.

As a leading vertically integrated company, our business segments encompass the manufacturing of Recycled PET flakes, Monofilament Yarns and Blow Moulded HDPE Jars. Our promoter’s journey began in Patna, catering initially to the Dairy and Chemical industries in Bihar. However, recognizing the evolving landscape, they relocated to Kolkata in 2005 and established RGL. This move marked a pivotal moment in our trajectory, signifying a shift towards newer opportunities and eventually entering PET recycling, aligning with our commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Today, we have two strategically located manufacturing units in Howrah, West Bengal. RGL sets itself apart through a commitment to quality and exceptional service. Pioneering our journey in 1997, he showcased exceptional leadership, shouldering profit-centric responsibilities and overseeing comprehensive group activities. Actively engaged in various plastics associations and bodies, his multifaceted experience and leadership significantly contribute to our growth, marking him as a seasoned professional in the industry.

Praveen Rungta
Joint Managing Director cum CFO

Mr. Praveen Rungta, aged 42, a Post Graduate in Business Management, brings over two decades of expertise as Joint Managing Director cum Chief Financial Officer. His proficiency in taxation, liaisoning, and export, coupled with a vast network, is pivotal. Steering strategic initiatives and overseeing finances, he plays a crucial role in the company’s trajectory. Specializing in government, investment, and other social obligations, he also manages PET bottle procurement and EPR activities.

Archit Rungta

Mr. Archit Rungta, a dynamic 22-year-old Electrical and Electronics Engineering graduate from BITS Pilani, brings valuable expertise in robotics and automation. With experience at Carnegie Mellon University’s Biorobotics Lab and Clutterbot Technologies, he is focused on elevating automation levels and integrating cutting-edge technologies into our manufacturing setups. His commitment to innovation aligns with our dedication to staying at the forefront of technological advancements.

Chandan Sengupta

Mr. Chandan Sengupta, our Independent Director, brings over 43 years of extensive experience in FMCG, Engineering, and Petrochemicals. His impactful 23-year tenure at Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd showcases his significant contributions to shaping business and strategic operations. His multifaceted expertise in commercial functions, HR, and digital transformation adds immense value to our strategic team.
